Ensured, Insured, Insurance

Is insurance important? Yes it is. It helps protect us from any loss that we might incur in the future. It makes that loss less painful and more bearable. Still a very important thing to remember about insurance is the need to fully understand the terms and conditions of your insurance policy. This is true whether we are talking about educational insurance, property insurance, Commercial Insurance, life insurance, health insurance, and the other kinds of insurance plans out there.

In order to understand what your insurance is about, the rule of thumb is to always (yes, always) read the fine print. This rule applies whether you’re buying your insurance from a well-dressed, brimming with enthusiasm, has-all-the-answers sales agent, or whether you are getting your policy through the internet, or whether you’re getting it from your loving wife who happens to sell insurance on the side. It will do you no harm if you take the time to read what you are ensuring against, what is covered by the policy, exceptions to the coverage, the policy’s limitations, et cetera.

So if you’ve read the policy, understood its terms and conditions, and are satisfied with said terms then go ahead and get that insurance.

You will sleep more soundly if you have insurance. But you will sleep much, much more soundly (maybe 200% more) if you understood its terms and conditions.
