Admit it. You DO watch those infomercials when they appear on your TV screen. What’s not to like? The actors are always so full of energy and they always seem to be having fun. Seriously, infomercial actors are the living epitome of that song you learned as a kid. You know the one that goes, “I’m alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic” which you repeat again, and again, and again.
Anyways, in case you are ever in a situation where you are looking for someone to do an infomercial for you, you might want to check out Hawthorne Direct, a company which specializes in infomercial production, commercial production, and DRTV or direct response television. They also provide other services such as: ad campaign management, print advertising, internet advertising, and many others. Visit them here to see the other services they offer.
Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, a man named Marcos, who fancied himself as the legendary Malakas built this monument for himself in the mountains of Tuba, Benguet.
He wanted a grand monument. It would be much much grander than Mt. Rushmore because he will have the mountain all to himself unlike Lincoln, and Washington, and that other President who had to share the limelight with the others. Co-starring lang sila habang si Marcos ay main and only feature.
But Marcos wasn’t contented to be the only dweller of the mountain, so he kicked out the Ibaloys who lived there since time immemorial.
And so the days passed. And the days turned to years. Then the century turned. Then this is what became of Marcos.

Who would have thought that this harmless looking chicken can be hazardous to our health.
By the way, I once thought that “cull” is a breed of chicken like the Ancona chicken or the Cornish chicken. Stupid me. It turns out that “cull” is not a breed. We just call them that because they are “culled out” from the rest of the flock as they are not that productive in laying eggs. Ito ay ayon sa aking kapatid who should know what he is talking about.

I’m sure a lot of us would rather not have anything to do with a lawyer. But sometimes, whether we like it or not, and because of circumstances which may or may not be of our own making, we find ourselves knocking on the doors of lawyers. Or in the age of the internets, we find ourselves googling for them.
Anyways, in the event that you need a New York bankruptcy lawyer, you might want to check out FeinLawyer.com headed by Richard S. Feinsilver, ESQ. He specializes in bankruptcy law which you can learn more about here. Heaven forbid that anyone of us will ever declare bankruptcy but who knows what the future holds.
Of course this blog is not all about bootlickers, chicken wings, and community activism. We are also about artistas. So let’s do a post on our favorite artista, Marky Cielo. Here are six things you might not know about him.
1. Did you know that he was (is?) the Department of Health’s Youth Ambassador Against Tobacco? That’s him and DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III shaking hands. Photo courtesy of the DOH website.
Hello, fellow travelers in this thing called Earth a.k.a. Earthlings. When you travel, do you stay in a hotel? A motel? The homes of relatives or friends?
Staying with relatives and friends would be a good option because a) they’re family and friends and b) it can potentially save you money. But it’s not an option if you happen to have no relatives or friends to wherever you’re going. Neither is it an option if you’re trying to avoid said relative and friends. Maybe you’re to cheap to buy a pasalubong, eh?
Anyways, another option would be to check out the National Housing Corporation, a firm which offers temporary housing arrangements in different parts of the United States. Take note that they have different packages. If you’re traveling for business purposes for instance, they can offer you a business housing package. So pick whatever suits your needs.
